One perfectly trimmed New York Strip steak of 300g (10.5oz.) from Robbins Island. Thinly sliced for easy cooking and best experience - every time.
Robbins Island Tasmanian Beef - cool climate, salt air, and the pristine environment are the ideal conditions for sustainably raising some of the most tender and best-tasting beef in the world - reserved for very special occasions or for that special someone. Extremely well-marbled at IMF 7-8 (for reference: USDA Prime equals IMF 6-7) - this steak will literally melt in your mouth. Due to the high marbling score, the steak is very forgiving, so even if you overcook it, it will remain juicy and tender but we highly recommend cooking the steak with nothing more than sea salt and freshly ground pepper to medium-rare as seen in the images for the very best experience. Robbins Island beef comes from a 4th generation family farm run by two families. Throughout the year, the cattle swim through saltwater channels (yes the images are real!) at low tide as they are moved between grazing areas. The cows that have been grass-fed on Tasmanian pasture for at least 18 months before being finished on an all-natural, GMO-free special feed ration, including grain, grass fodder, and kelp seaweed extract for approx. 400 days. Of course, at no point have the cows been treated with growth hormones or antibiotics. Robbins Island beef is registered with the Australian Wagyu Association as they use actual Japanese Wagyu genetics. The beef is marketed and sold as Tasmanian Wagyu in Australia. In Japan, due to regulations, the word Wagyu can only be applied to cattle originating from Japan. Directly imported into Japan by Horizon Farms. All images are actual and real images of the cattle and farmers!
