180g (6.35oz.) of fully pre-cooked (sous-vide) 100% grass-fed beef striploin steak from New Zealand. Choose between a 3 pack or 6 pack set. This steak has been sous vide, so all it needs is to be defrosted and seared on both sides until brown - and just like that you have a perfectly cooked medium steak. With this steak, the struggle to find the perfect inner temperature is over. This striploin steak has a deep delicious beefy flavor. It comes with a fat layer which when cooked will render and add flavorful juice to the steak. The steaks are already seasoned with sea salt and pepper.
100% grass-fed beef from New Zealand - one of the few places in the world where grass-based farming can reach its full potential. Our New Zealand beef is 100% free of antibiotics, growth hormones, and GMOs. The cows have been raised with the ability to graze freely as nature intended, reducing stress for optimal animal welfare.
Preparation Method: The steaks are pre-cooked to medium doneness. All you need to do is defrost the steaks overnight, then warm up the steaks in their sealed packaging in hot water up to 60 degrees C. Once warmed up to the core, open the packaging and quickly sear them on very high heat in olive oil for a Maillard effect (crispy and brown surface). Start with the fatty side down as seen in the images.
We do not recommend this steak for customers who love their steaks rare to medium rare. The sous-vide process (pre-cooking process) makes the striploin steaks dryer especially because they are very lean. The searing will cook the steak further, therefore we recommend keeping the searing extremely short.
