300g (10.6oz) of 100% grass-fed premium beef cut from the upper shoulder, also known as the chuck eye. This cut is on the lean side, perfect for those looking for meat with an intense beefy flavor and a slightly firm texture. We feel the chuck eye steak is best cooked on the grill, but its lean profile makes it a great candidate for pressure cooking. Cook to medium-rare and slice against the grain for an amazing experience. See the cooking instructions below.

Defrost completely in the refrigerator overnight or in cold water for 2 hours. Once completely defrosted open the vacuum-sealed packaging and pat dry with a paper towel. Let the steak come to room temperature.
High-quality meat does not need any complicated seasoning, sauces, or marinade. Simply season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Use high-quality unsalted butter or olive oil and heat up the frypan or skillet to medium heat. You need to hear the steak sizzle.
Turn often. Add additional butter or olive oil as needed to keep the steak from becoming dry.
Take the steak off the heat once the internal temperature reaches 50 degrees Celsius (125 degrees Fahrenheit).
Allow the steak to rest on a cutting board for 5-7 minutes as it continues to cook internally on residual heat.
Cut the steak into slices against the grain as seen in the images. When you bite into the meat, the fibers will break up easily, making it easy to chew and extra juicy.
Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and enjoy while warm.
Translated from Japanese: After all, I’m worried about antibiotics, etc., so I didn't buy a lot of meat before.
I’m very grateful I found Horizon Farms and can order here with confidence. Also, the cooking instruction videos are very helpful.
My family also thought it’s delicious and ate it happily! I will continue ordering here.
Translated from Japanese: It was very delicious. It was softer than I expected and had no odor.
