Yes, farming to organic standards is not cheap and requires heavy bureaucracy to make sure all governmentally set standards are met and complied with. If you are looking for that added layer of safety and peace of mind, then certified organic beef is your best choice. It does not get any more transparent and cleaner than this. Pasture-raised and 100% grass-fed for life on massive pasture land in Australia - as nature intended. The cows graze on pastures totally clean of any synthetic chemicals, herbicides, and pesticides. The animals have never been given antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones. See more about the farmers below. All images are actual images and real.

What is Organic Farming?
At Horizon Farms - all our meat is guaranteed to come from animals that have never been treated with growth hormones or antibiotics. "Certified organic" is an extra layer. Certified organic is a protected word by governmental institutions in Australia, Japan, and all industrialized nations. Only products that have been genuinely verified are allowed to claim organic. Organic livestock farming by default prohibits the use of antibiotics, growth-promoting hormones, and synthetic chemicals on pasture land. Organic farming also implements strict rules and governs animal husbandry and animal welfare. All in all organic farming is a holistic farm management approach, organic farming aims to create a socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable food production system. What you eat can change the world.

Beef Filet Steaks Recipe Instructions

Completely defrost in the fridge or in cold water. Open pack and pat dry any moisture with a paper towel. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes. You will see vivid color changes as the steaks are exposed to oxygen.

Quality steaks do not require heavy seasonings or marinate. Simply use sea salt and freshly ground pepper and rub with extra virgin olive oil. Use a frying pan or cast-iron skillet. Preheat to low heat. You need to hear the steak sizzle. If you are using a grill, place the steaks into the indirect heat zone not directly over the flames.

100% grass-fed beef and grass-finished beef is leaner than grass-fed and grain-finished beef. Lean beef needs to be cooked very slowly and turned often. Do not let the steaks run dry and always use plenty of olive oil or salt-free butter to cook the steak. We recommend medium-rare for steaks. Remove from the heat once the core temperature has reached 50 degrees Celsius (125 degrees Fahrenheit) and place on a cutting board.

The steaks will continue to cook internally on residual heat. Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes. Use a large sharp knife and cut the steak into slices.

Perfectly cooked to medium-rare. Serve and eat while warm for the best taste experience. Sprinkle with sea salt if necessary. Enjoy!

For celebrations and special occasions

Translated from Japanese: I made a steak. It was very soft and juicy and you can separate it with just your mouth. You don't need a knife. 100% Australian Grass-fed Premium Beef Fillet Steak is upward compatible. I bought it for my birthday and I’m very happy with it. I think it's perfect for birthdays and special occasions.
