This premium tallow is sourced from the suet of free to roam, 100% grass-fed cows reared on Tasmanian soils that have never been treated with growth hormones or antibiotics. A great source of omega-6 fatty acids in the form of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) which is 300-500% higher in our grass-fed beef compared to grain-fed. CLA is 1 of 2 essential fatty acids for humans. This beef suet comes solely from the fat found around the kidneys.
You'll find this fat is firm but silky, adding an amazing scent and flavor to your dishes. It has a very high melting point and is awesome for searing meat due to its high smoke point of about 200 degrees C.

Has a nice flavour. I’m happy to find grass fed tallow in Japan, I use it to cook veggies and meat because it is suitable for high heats and one of the healthiest options.
I just wish it came in a glass jar rather than plastic.

This is such a wonderful product, I can't praise it enough. If I'm frying eggs, vegetables, meat or anything then this is indispensable with its high smoke point and taste.
