Until what temperature can I sous vide the meat in their own packaging?
Our packaging is sous-vide ready (the process of cooking meat in their packaging in hot water for a prolonged time) for water temperatures up to 95°C (200°F). We do not recommend temperatures close to the boiling point but temperatures around 60°C (140°F) with a cooking period between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

Please note that this product may be shipped frozen if ordered with frozen products. Rest assured that this does not affect the quality of the product.

Introducing premium all-natural apple "butter" spread made of a generous amount of apples from Nagano Prefecture, Japan. 1kg (2.2lbs) of apples are slowly cooked for 6 hours and the end result is mixed with cinnamon and filled into small sealed glass jars - each about 155g (5.4oz). No colorings, no preservatives, no additives - no nasties. Who knew just apples and cinnamon could make this delectable treat? A true traditional American recipe - although it's called butter, it contains no butter or other dairy products and is suitable to consume for those with dairy allergies, vegetarians and vegans.

This apple butter can be used in a variety of ways, but we highly recommend eating it straight up as a topping on your favorite bread or pastry. Also great as a luxurious snack with bacon/prosciutto and wine. The spicy aroma of the cinnamon and the natural sweetness and tartness of the apples gives every dish a rich flavor.

The apples are grown in Minami-Shinshu in Nagano Prefecture - an area famous for its apples and is said to be the best place to grow them. The land is surrounded by two Alps and near the Tenryu River. It's a sunny region with little rainfall, where the temperature differences between day and night are extremely high. These conditions help grow brightly colored apples that are juicy and delectably sweet.
