New Zealand Free-Range Lamb Sweetbreads (450g)

Canterbury
LB293

4 items left

Description

A small pack 450g (1lbs) of lamb sweetbreads. There are more than a dozen sweetbread nuggets in one pack. The finest New Zealand quality - you will notice that there is no unpleasant odor. Sweetbreads are offal meat and come from the thymus gland and pancreas. Also known as "ris d'agneau". Whenever meat has fancy French names you know you'll find it in fancy restaurants. This is true for the lamb sweetbread. Sweetbreads are considered a delicatessen. The texture is very smooth, tender, and moist, and the flavor is quite mild and creamy. The outside crisps up easily, and they go well with both rich and more acidic sauces. If you’ve never had sweetbreads before, give them a try.

Using the whole animal is a practice that is still common in many countries around the world and is gaining momentum within the (health) conscious carnivore community. We at Horizon Farms we strongly believe in the whole animal butchery where less sought-after parts are also offered so nothing goes to waste. Usually - due to their low market price value, offals and less sought after cuts are sold domestically within the export country, and seldomly make it into export.

New Zealand lamb is internationally known for its superior quality and taste. Our New Zealand lamb takes it one step further: All year free-range open pasture-raised, grass-fed lambs. Free of growth-promoting hormones and subtherapeutic use of antibiotics. This is the finest lamb available. If you have never tried lamb or had a bad experience with lamb in the past we urge you to give New Zealand premium quality lamb a try. Our lamb comes from family-owned and operated farms and ranches in New Zealand only. Ethical raising has always been the cultural tradition in New Zealand.

Blue hake and Tasmanian salmon for New Year

Translated from Japanese: I put great importance to protein and safety.
For New Year's, I’m having luxurious Tasmanian salmon sashimi with the usual high-protein blue hake.

Protein and Vitamin D

Translated from Japanese: Blue hake is low in calories and can be expected to have protein and a certain amount of vitamin D ❗

Very pleased with the quantity and quality of this order! There was no fishy smell. I pan fried the fillets and the fish meat held together, did not break up. Most importantly these are delicious! I used simple spices like salt, pepper, turmeric and paprika, and it was just so good that I immediately placed another order!

Delicious ❤︎

Translated from Japanese: It has no unpleasant smell, so even I, who is not good with fish, enjoyed it. Since it has no bones, it can also be used for baby food.
I will order again.

Real chicken!

Translated from Japanese: Recently, when I started thinking about animal welfare and researching various things, I found out about "HORIZON FARMS".
I was especially looking for chicken and wanted to try the chicken from "Bostock Brothers Farm" who grew up in a wonderful environment! That’s why I bought it
I thought that the feelings for life, the environment in which they grow, the feed make it a wonderful farm.
Without a doubt, it was the most delicious and safest chicken I have ever had.
I would like to thank everyone at "Bostock Brothers Farm" and everyone at "HORIZON FARMS". Thank you for making such wonderful meat available in Japan.

Fresh, juicy, delicious

Translated from Japanese: Knowing the current situation of Japanese broilers, I searched for chicken that is raised more freely.
I found Horizon Farms and bought it immediately.
I bought a lot, but first I got this chicken breast meat.
It’s very juicy and delicious. Thank you.
From now on, I will order this again if I want to eat meat.

Chicken ham

Translated from Japanese: The New Zealand lamb I received last time was very delicious, so I ordered chicken this time.
Overnight, I soaked it in salt and stevia to make chicken ham. I was surprised to hear that the breast meat is a chicken that exercises a lot and very soft nevertheless. Especially, the fat part of the thin skin is exquisite.
Thank you to Mr. Chicken, Mr. Bostock, Mr. Horizon for bringing this organic, delicious meat from far away to Japan.

Translated from Japanese: I’m ordering again.
It’s the only delicious chicken that can be eaten by families who don’t like chicken. I’m happy that it’s safe and organic.

Translated from Japanese: It's soft and juicy.
I think it's real chicken that is simply seasoned and flavorful.

Translated from Japanese: The texture, flavor and taste are very good. The chicken I ate in a restaurant after this was smelly and had a bad texture, so I couldn't eat it.

Safe! Organic! And delicious!!!

Translated from Japanese: At first, I was worried about what foreign organic chicken would look like, but although they taste a little different from domestic chicken, they're rich in flavor and delicious. Even if they're grilled or boiled, they'll become very soft if cooked well. The drumsticks were delicious, but these boneless thighs have been my favorite lately, so I’ve been reordering them.

Translated from Japanese: I was very happy that the size turned out to be larger than I expected! I think I will continue to order here.
