What does it do? This thermometer is inserted into thick steaks or roasts and is left inside while cooking or roasting, even inside the oven or over grill fire. Its color LED light indicates when your meat is ready with extreme precision. With three set temperatures (Green = Medium Rare (125°F/51.67°C), Yellow = Medium (140°F/60°C) and Red = Medium Well (153°F/67.22°C) you will always get your steak to your personal perfection. This takes out all the guesswork and prevents overcooking or undercooking roasts or steaks - the perfect doneness every time! 

How about the battery? The manufacturer promises over 1000 (!) use cycles. If you cook a roast every weekend, it would theoretically last over 15 years (!!) 

Any Warranty? Yes, the manufacturer gives 5 years (!) guarantee on this thermometer. 

What can this thermometer do what my regular thermometer can't? Regular food thermometers measure temperature. This thermometer measures the doneness. There is no temperature display but an LED indicator telling you when to remove the meat from the heat. It also calculates the resting time - the time the roast or steaks continues cooking even after removing it from the heat source.

Can I use this thermometer for any kind of meat? You can use this thermometer on beef, salmon steaks, tuna steaks, pork roasts, game meat, lamb or a whole large fish. It is necessary that the thermometer is inserted fully into the center of the meat. That means this thermometer can't be used on thin steaks or on roasts where the thermometer would poke out from the other side.

Is it heat resistant? Of course, it is. It is designed to withstand temperatures up to 900°F / 482°C. 

Where can I use it? You can use the thermometer on the grill, oven, and fryingpan/skillet. Indoors and outdoors. Winter and summer.

Finally a nice breakfast sausage in Japan

Coming from the west one tends to do without when it comes to certain traditional foods. This is the best breakfast sausage I have tasted in years. The bonus is that you can make a perfectly sized patty out of two sausages for the perfect egg and sausage sandwich.

I will be ordering again!

They’re easy to eat because they’re skinless! The herbal scent is amazing!

Translated from Japanese: They’re naturally without skin, but these are soft and easy to eat. It has just the right amount of salt and you can smell the herbs well. At times when you don’t want to eat more than two sausages, if you just cut open the package, you can conveniently separate them in their frozen state.
Without oil, I slowly cooked them with their own oils and eggs. It was extremely delicious!
I want to stock up on them in my freezer.

These sausages, that are carefully made, are amazing!

Translated from Japanese: They’re big and the meat very delicious. I think that safe and organic sausages at this price where you also know the origin of the ingredients are too cheap.
After boiling the whole bag, I cooked them and ate them with grain mustard. I was very satisfied with one pack, so I think it's okay to use about two.
