Certified Organic Halfshell Oysters from New Zealand (12pc)

Horizon Farms
SF778

Certified organic, naturally grown oysters in the half shell from New Zealand. These oysters are sashimi-grade, which means they have been rigidly tested and verified for raw consumption in New Zealand as well as in Japan. Oysters are international delicacies and have a delectably sweet yet subtle flavor and are in high demand in fine dining markets around the world. Oyster connoisseurs will tell you that eating an oyster "naked" is the only way to go. Feel free to prepare them grilled, fried, roasted, or broiled.

Each box contains 1 dozen (12 half shell oysters) the weight is approx. 500g (1.1lbs) per box. The oysters are individually quick-frozen with a mist of water to preserve freshness and texture. Simply remove the number of oysters you need to defrost from the tray at any time and slowly defrost in the fridge. For raw consumption, keep the oysters chilled at all times and consume them as soon as possible.

These Premium Pure Aotearoa Oysters are organically cultivated, harvested, and processed from the beautiful waters around the Clevedon Coast and Waiheke Island. No use of antibiotics or chemicals at any point. Each oyster is hand-processed under strict hygiene regulations and the growing waters are constantly monitored to ensure the highest quality and safety possible. All processing and packing are undertaken in New Zealand.

Please note this item is officially certified organic in the country of origin but due to bilateral agreements not yet recognized as certified organic in Japan. We're in the process of having this product recognized as certified in Japan as well.

Translated from Japanese: It was very soft and delicious. I got here looking for chickens that were bred safely.
I will order again.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: If you eat this chicken, you won't want to eat the chicken you bought at other shops.
The aroma and texture are extraordinary and delicious.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: It’s my first time trying this chicken!
I haven't eaten it yet, but I'm thinking of making a simple chicken salad (^^)
I'm looking forward to it!

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I made chicken cutlet and seasoned it only with salt. It was really delicious. There is really no smell on the second day either.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: It’s one of the foods that I always have in the freezer.
Two pieces are included in one pack, so it’s very easy to use.
I like these good points about it.

Peace of mind and deliciousness

Translated from Japanese: After thawing, I soaked it in salted jiuqu, grated garlic soy sauce, sake, etc., and after about 2 days in the refrigerator, I baked it in the oven until slightly brown. My whole family said it’s delicious! And praised me. I’d like to purchase it again.

Recommended if you care about quality

Translated from Japanese: I'm grateful that you can buy organic chicken at this price.
It's vacuum packed, so you don't have to worry about frost. With 500g, you can cook everything at once, so I think it's much better than freezing it in several parts.
However, since the shape is uneven, it takes up a lot of space in the freezer and since it’s a lump, it cannot be thawed in a short time.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I buy meat here every time.
Since shipping is quick and various kinds of meat are available, this is my favorite place to buy from.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I bought it repeatedly already. It’s delicious. The thickness is amazing. I cooked it in a frying pan with olive oil over low heat. No sauce needed.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: It's always delicious! The amount of one pack is also optimal and I will order again!

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I made Christmas chicken for my family and it seems it’ll be delicious. Thank you.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: It’s a reorder. I don't like chicken skin, but the chicken skin from here has no odor and is thin and crispy, so it’s delicious. In a family of three, if you buy two packs, you will have one left, but if you divide the remaining one by three, you will be comfortably full.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I fully enjoyed the taste of chicken by using the simple seasoning of salt and pepper.
I immediately ordered it again for Christmas because my family requested it.

For Christmas

Translated from Japanese: The taste and meat were solid and it was very delicious without any odor. I’m satisfied with the size. I’m satisfied with the affordable price.
The texture is completely different from supermarket chicken. It’s a dish I want to buy again.

Y
Yahoo

Translated from Japanese: The skin is thin and there is no excess fat, so when baked in the oven, the skin turned crispy and although I don't usually like the skin, I was able to enjoy it.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: It has no bones and has a good crunchy feeling. It’s a stable fish.

Delicious blue hake

Translated from Japanese: That there aren’t any bones was relieving and my family loved it. The white part is light, I put herb powder, pepper and garlic powder on it and ate it with lemon..
The texture was irresistible after all.
I like how easy it is to cook. I will order again. It’s good you can eat it with confidence.

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I ate it fried and sautéed. It was thick and filling and it was delicious with an elegant light taste. Since it’s a fillet, it also has a tail part and for some reason my children loved it fried the most (laughs).

R
Rakuten

Translated from Japanese: I bought this blue hake that I had been interested in for a long time. I sprinkled it with herbs and sautéed it with salt and pepper. It was very delicious without any odor. There was a review that said there were quite a few scales, so I cooked the skin-side over high heat thoroughly with no worries. I’m very satisfied with the easy sautéing that you can eat at an Italian restaurant.

It’s an easy-to-eat fish.

Translated from Japanese: Blue hake is the number one easy-to-eat fish because it has almost no bones.
