Half-shell greenshell mussels from the clean waters off New Zealand. Greenshell mussels have plump meat with a sweet and tender taste. These all-natural mussels are very convenient and easy to prepare - half of the shell is already removed. They are well suited to many types of preparations including sauté, frying, baking, steaming, broiling, stewing, and grilling. You get a whopping 1kg (2.2 lbs) of individually quick frozen mussels. Simply remove the number of mussels you need to defrost from the bag at any time and defrost in a separate bowl.

My first time ordering mussels and it was a tasty experience. Very easy to prepare, just soak in water and remove from the shell. I then used with pasta and the taste was great! I think I will order again.

This was the first time I've cooked mussels at home, so I baked them in a pan with chopped veggies, mushrooms, and cheese on top and they were pretty good!
You don't need to know any Italian recipes to enjoy these mussels, so I highly recommend them!
