What are the best before dates?
Each product comes with its own label and expiration date. The expiration is written in Japanese: 賞味期限 (shou-mi-ki-gen) and the format is yyyy/mm/dd.

We do not specifically carry or import halal or kosher products. Some items are labeled as kosher or halal by default from the country of origin.

Until what temperature can I sous vide the meat in their own packaging?
Our packaging is sous-vide ready (the process of cooking meat in their packaging in hot water for a prolonged time) for water temperatures up to 95°C (200°F). We do not recommend temperatures close to the boiling point but temperatures around 60°C (140°F) with a cooking period between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

Please note this ice cream's tub does not contain a film under the lid, but the lid is wrapped with a transparent film on the outside. Although a temperature-controlled frozen delivery service is used, during the extreme heat of the summer months the ice cream may arrive slightly defrosted. Please place the ice cream into the freezer immediately after delivery to refreeze. Rest assured that there are no safety or quality issues. Thank you for your understanding.

Cocofrio plant based, dairy-free ice cream is created with health in mind. Made with coconut milk and free of gluten and refined sugars - this ice cream is super clean without sacrificing any delicious flavor. Cocofrio is officially certified organic in the country of origin but due to bilateral agreements not recognized as organic in Japan.
