Maldon sea salt is harvested straight from the sea with very little processing. The 135-year-old company is a family business located in Maldon, The United Kingdom and is currently run in the fourth generation.

What is the difference between sea salt and regular table salt? The difference is the taste, texture and processing. Sea salt is produced through evaporation of ocean water with very little processing. This leaves behind trace minerals and elements which add flavor to the salt.
