Biting into the comb releases an explosion of sweet and delicious all-natural honey. The honey is made from the acacia flower which gives it a light color and an aromatic, sweet, and delicate flavor. If you have never had good quality honey or always thought honey was underwhelming, give acacia honey a try and it will convert you into a "beeliever". We recommend eating the honeycomb as it is or spreading it on some toast - but it's completely up to you how you want to enjoy this unique treat.
The comb itself has no particular flavor and when chewed has a candlewax and gum-like texture but will turn crumbly if chewed long enough. It is perfectly safe and delicious to consume both the honey and the wax of the comb. In fact, the added chewy texture of the comb is what makes the experience special. You may as well spit out the wax at the end.
