Free-Range Skin-On Whole Turkey Breast from New Zealand (1.2kg)
Choose options
These turkey breasts are a fantastic addition to any celebration. We recommend oven roasting slowly for the perfect result. If you are after that popular white breast meat, this is the best option for you. Each pack contains both the left and right turkey breasts that are attached by the skin. The skin renders into juicy fat that helps keep the turkey breasts juicy throughout the cooking process. Turkey meat is known for its high protein low-fat values. If you are looking for the highest quality of free-range turkey - this is what you are looking for.
About Brining: As the turkey is all natural and unprocessed, we highly recommend brining it before cooking to make it extra juicy and tender. To brine, submerge the half-frozen whole breast in a large container for 24 hours in the fridge with salt water. Use about 50g of salt (sea salt is best if on hand) per 1 liter of water and make sure the salt is fully dissolved in the water.
✔ Open pasture-raised on fresh green paddocks pecking and nibbling away as they explore the farm.
✔ Allowed to freely forage on open pasture and exhibit natural behavior. The shelter provides protection from the elements which they can enter during the night.
✔ Certified free-range by FREPNZ (Free Range Egg and Poultry New Zealand).
✔ No use of antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones - ever
✔ One farm, one family, one importer - traceability from farm to fork.

New Zealand free-range, and open pasture-raised white turkey - probably the first in Japan. The free-range turkeys spend their days roaming around fresh green paddocks, pecking and nibbling away as they explore the farm as nature intended. At night the turkeys are moved into the sheds to prevent exposure to harsh weather conditions and protect them from predators. It goes without saying that the birds were never treated with antibiotics or growth hormones. Compared to factory-farmed conventional turkeys, our turkeys are raised for 3 weeks longer.
The farm is called Canter Valley and is a real family-owned business run by Locky and Kathy located in North Canterbury, New Zealand. The welfare of the turkeys is a top priority and the family farm maintains the highest level of farming practices. They hold certification for free-range animal welfare practices and are certified by FREPNZ (Free Range Egg and Poultry New Zealand).
