Until what temperature can I sous vide the meat in their own packaging?
Our packaging is sous-vide ready (the process of cooking meat in their packaging in hot water for a prolonged time) for water temperatures up to 95°C (200°F). We do not recommend temperatures close to the boiling point but temperatures around 60°C (140°F) with a cooking period between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

The cheek of beef is a tough muscle and requires long hours of slow cooking to become tender. Extremely flavorsome and juicy, with a rich abundance of collagens - this is what makes the cheek part so special. The unique cut can be found on world-class restaurant menus, but we recommend simmering with a luscious red wine.

GRASS FED BEEF CHEEK MEAT

My first time trying cheek meat.
I cut it up into pieces and pan fried them in tallow. These are so delicious! I loved the texture and flavor. Definitely will order again. I’m going to try slow cooking them next time to see how it is. 😋💕
