Very hard to come by in Japan. 100% grass-fed pasture-raised beef from Australia - the land of grass-fed beef. This is not only 100% grass-fed beef, but this is also 100% free of antibiotics and 100% free of growth hormones and 100% free of GMO feed - if you are looking for clean 100% grass-fed and 100% grass-finished beef - there is nothing better than this. Great Southern beef is produced in the southern areas of Australia, where year-round rainfall coupled with Australia’s beautiful sunshine, yield exceptional pastures for cattle to graze on.
This 340g pack of ground beef is solely made from the never-frozen, freshly imported rump of beef (referred to as sirloin in the US) - which is cut usually reserved for roasts or even steaks. We do not use trimmings or add fat nor do we mix it with pork meat. With this exceptional quality of beef, there are no chewy gristles or chunks of fat. This ground beef comes at a 10/90 fat to red meat ratio and is therefore very lean. Probably the cleanest and highest quality of 100% grass-fed available on the market.
Although we prefer and recommend beef from cows that have been grass-fed and then humanely finished on natural grain feed for the superior quality, tenderness, and taste (see our Morgan Ranch Beef or Ocean Beef) - we understand that 100% grass-fed beef can be a preference for the health-conscious. So we bring you the very best quality available from Australia. 100% grass-fed beef has indeed higher concentrations of the following nutritions: antioxidants, vitamins, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and long-chain omega-3 fats mostly found in fish. It also has less fat overall.
