As this product contains live lactic acid bacteria, fermentation will continue even while refrigerated. Over time, the flavor will become richer and more cheese-like, and some acidity and moisture (whey) may develop. Taste may also vary depending on individual variation and storage temperature.
This product is restocked weekly in limited quantities.
Certified Organic JAS Greek yogurt, produced locally in Gunma Prefecture. Available in sets of 3 or 7, this sweetened yogurt is made using rare, domestically produced organic milk from pasture-raised cows. The cows are raised without reliance on growth hormones, antibiotics, or other chemical substances, and are fed only non-GMO organic feed and clean pasture grass, ensuring a product you can enjoy with confidence.
This premium yogurt showcases the rich, full-bodied flavor of milk from healthy pasture-raised cows. With low acidity, smooth, cream-like texture, and refined sweetness from organic raw cane sugar, it offers a naturally balanced and elegant taste. Add your favorite fruits or honey to create a vibrant, protein-rich dessert, or use it as a base for smoothies. It also works beautifully as a versatile cooking ingredient - perfect for dips in place of sour cream, or added to creamy soups and curries for the whole family to enjoy. For maximum probiotic benefit, it is recommended to consume below 40°C (104°F).
What is Greek yogurt?
Greek yogurt is made by straining out whey (the liquid component of yogurt), resulting in a thick and characteristically rich texture. By removing the whey, the lactose content is reduced and the protein is concentrated. Protein is known to help you feel fuller for longer, making this yogurt both satisfying and substantial. While individual tolerance may vary, Greek yogurt is often considered easier to digest than regular yogurt for those with lactose sensitivity.

About White Ferment & Matsumoto Farm Dairy
White Ferment is a dairy workshop founded by master craftsman Takahashi, who built his expertise producing cheese and butter at a dairy manufacturer and further refined his skills under a renowned cheesemaker. The workshop was established with a clear mission: to pursue truly authentic dairy products without the use of additives.
The yogurt is made using organic raw milk from Matsumoto Farm in Tsumagoi Village, Gunma Prefecture, one of the rare sources of domestically produced organic milk in Japan. The cows are raised freely on expansive pasture at the foot of Mount Asama, in a low-stress, natural environment. Raised without growth hormones or antibiotics, they are fed primarily on homegrown pasture grass cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, along with non-GMO organic feed. By prioritizing both the health of the cows and the safety of the consumer, this approach yields milk of exceptional quality. The resulting yogurt offers a rich depth of flavor and a gentle, natural taste that can only be achieved through truly authentic dairy craftsmanship.
