Smoked ham slices made from free-range pork thigh meat. One pack contains 200g (7oz) of ham sliced to a thickness of about 6mm. This ham uses only clean pork - raised free-range for life without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics - as well as salt and strictly selected natural seasoning. Absolutely no nitrates/nitrites, curing salts, preservatives, colorings, artificial ingredients, or any other chemicals - just pure, additive-free smoked ham that the whole family can enjoy. You may notice the color is not as pink as often seen in ham. This natural hue is a testament to the meat's clean, chemical-free processing. This product is precooked and can be enjoyed as is once defrosted.
Pork thigh is a lean and healthy cut of meat due to active muscle use resulting in low fat. This ham has a firm texture and a satisfying chew, allowing you to savor the natural taste of pork with every bite. This is a versatile cut and can be enjoyed as is straight from the package after defrosting, or added into dishes like ramen (as chashu/char siu), fried rice (diced cuts), or pasta sauces. Since it's a lean cut, adding a bit of butter or oil when cooking can help enhance the flavor and provide a richer taste.
