You get 1 fully sized whole bone-in chicken without the giblets and neck - basically ready for roasting. Choose between 1.3kg (2.8lbs) and 2.0kg (4.4lbs) sizes. That should fit any regular oven in Japan. The chicken is naturally slow grown and therefore the meat is much healthier, better formed, tastier, and juicier than commodity chicken. There are no bruises or broken bones that you often find on poor factory-farmed birds. Perfect for a family dinner or gathering. Used with plenty of healthy oven-roasted vegetables this bird can easily feed the whole family.
Free-range, open pasture-raised certified organic chicken from New Zealand. Naturally and sustainably slow-grown with love and care on certified organic apple orchards in Hawke's Bay. The happy chickens roam and forage freely as nature intended. No antibiotics, no growth hormones, no GMO feed, no chlorine washing. The feed and the land are free of any synthetic chemicals. Certified organic is not only good for you but most importantly good for the environment. Bostock Brothers organic chicken is the only certified organic chicken farm in all of New Zealand.
Due to bilateral agreements, this chicken is only certified organic in New Zealand. Japanese JAS organic is being applied for and in process.

Translated from Japanese: I ordered for the first time.
I wanted to try making roast chicken for my children!
The taste was perfect and it was a fun memory.
Translated from Japanese: I put it in a hot cooker of 2.4L. I made Samgyetang. Not only the meat, but also the soup was very delicious. I also had the soup for lunch ramen during the holidays.
I found Horizon Farms in search of chicken meat that was not cultivated as much as possible, where the chickens lived freely. This chicken is not cultivated by using organic fertilizers, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers, but an ingredient that grew without any modification. Such meat is hard to come by in Japan. I’m grateful!
Translated from Japanese: Even if no antibiotics were used, my daughter doesn't eat it because of the smell, but when it’s this chicken, she eats it deliciously (^ O ^)
You can eat with confidence (^ O ^)
I will order again.
Translated from Japanese: I'm very satisfied!
I baked it for Christmas! The skin was thin and crispy and it was the best. I sprinkled it with herb salt before baking, put garlic, salted lemon, pesticide-free citrus inside half of the chicken and baked it in a 27 cm Le Creuset with flavored vegetables arranged around the outside of the chicken. I put butter between the outer skin and the meat underneath to make the breast meat moister. There were other things to eat as well, so this size was enough for three people.
Translated from Japanese: It was very delicious.
Thank you.
