Now Certified JAS Organic! This product has always been made to organic standards but has now officially been certified under Japan's strict regulations.
Note that organic chicken meat tends to have red or brown coloring around the bones even after cooking. This is not blood, rather it is proteins called myoglobin and hemoglobin which are predominantly found in healthy free-range chicken that exercise and move a lot. There are no safety or quality concerns. Brining the chicken 24h prior to cooking in a salt solution helps reduce the visual impact.
You get 500g of organic chicken wings, known as tebasaki in Japan. Chicken wings are an all-time classic. Whether you like to cover them in bbq sauce, a homemade seasoning, or just a little sea salt and freshly ground pepper, chicken wings are always welcomed.

Have been buying chicken wings from Horizon Farms for 3 years now and have been consistently satisfied with the quality of the product. We bake the wings in the oven and the flavour is definitely better than what we can get at the supermarket.
