Wild-caught skin-on, boneless Hake fish fillets from New Zealand. They have a moist, white flesh and a soft, delicate texture. A very versatile fish that can be baked, barbequed, poached, steamed, fried, or served in soup or chowder. The fillets are medium-sized and thin which allows for quick and convenient cooking and easy portion control.
Each pack contains 1-4 individual fillets, but will weigh 450g (1lb.) no matter how many are inside. The fish fillets come in a vacuum-sealed freezer-safe bag.
This scientific name for the Hake fish is the "Merluccius australis", and is not to be confused with our Hoki fish fillets (Macruronus novaezelandiae). Click here to check out the Hoki fish fillets.
All fish are caught in New Zealand waters by the Talley's fishery which employs New Zealand fishermen. All catches are monitored and managed by the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries using government-regulated quotas to meet sustainability requirements. These fillets hold the "Certified Sustainable Seafood" MSC certification - which is a way of showing that a fishery meets international best practice for sustainable fishing.

Nice delicate texture as said in the description. In the frying pan spiced up with butter... just delicious. Very wholesome tasting.
Terrific with some pesto and/or butter and salt.
Translated from Japanese: This is white fish with no odor and is very easy to eat. It’s easy to use because it has no bones. It was delicious.
