Certified Organic Unpasteurized Kombucha from Japan - Original, Yuzu & Shiso (300ml x 3)
Choose options
These Certified JAS Organic kombuchas are carefully brewed in Japan using Japanese-grown organic tea leaves and selected organic and natural ingredients. Each set contains three 300ml (10.1oz.) bottles, for a total of 900ml. Choose an assorted set featuring Original, Yuzu Heads, and Shiso Future, or a three-bottle set of your favorite flavor. The kombucha is unpasteurized and handcrafted at a dedicated kombucha brewery, where everything from tea extraction and fermentation to bottling is carefully carried out by hand.
Premium green tea and black tea from Nagata Tea Garden in Uji, Kyoto are extracted at carefully selected temperatures to bring out their refined flavors before fermentation. No preservatives, flavorings, or colorings are used, and carbon dioxide for carbonation is the only added food additive. Ready to drink as-is, this kombucha offers a refreshing combination of fruity acidity, gentle carbonation, and the complex flavors created through fermentation.
What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a lightly sparkling fermented tea made by fermenting tea and sugar with a SCOBY, a culture of microorganisms that supports the fermentation process. Despite the similar name, kombucha is completely different from Japanese kelp tea. Its naturally fruity acidity and refreshing character have made it a popular fermented drink for those interested in incorporating fermented foods and beverages into a gut-conscious lifestyle.
Original
The simplest and most classic of the three flavors, Original is made with organic green tea and black tea and has a naturally fruity aroma created through fermentation, with notes reminiscent of white grapes and pears. Its clean, balanced flavor makes it easy to enjoy regularly and also provides the base used to create the other flavors. Original received a Bronze Award in the Original category at the Kombucha Kup Awards in the United States.
Yuzu Heads
Yuzu Heads is made by infusing the kombucha with aromatic Kito yuzu peel from Tokushima Prefecture. The thick, fragrant peel gives the drink a bright citrus aroma and a clean, refreshing finish without the use of yuzu juice. Yuzu Heads received a Bronze Award in the Single Fruit category at the World Kombucha Awards in Spain.
Shiso Future
Shiso Future is made with Japanese-grown red shiso, including shiso cultivated in Hokkaido. Its elegant, floral aroma pairs beautifully with the fruity acidity of the kombucha, while its vivid color comes naturally from the shiso itself without added coloring. Shiso Future received a Gold Award in the Herb category at the Kombucha Kup Awards in the United States.

About _SHIP KOMBUCHA by Oizumi Factory
Oizumi Factory is Japan's first kombucha brewery to receive Certified JAS Organic certification and was also the first in Japan to begin producing raw, unpasteurized kombucha. Inspired by kombucha discovered in the United States, the producer learned from craftspeople around the world and refined its brewing methods through repeated experimentation to create kombucha suited to Japanese tastes. The resulting flavor and quality have earned recognition at international kombucha competitions.
Their commitment extends beyond carefully selected ingredients and meticulous brewing to the environment surrounding the brewery. Used tea leaves are composted on-site, water used during production is reused whenever possible, and wastewater is treated before being released. Thorough hygiene standards are maintained throughout every stage of production, reflecting the care that goes into each bottle of _SHIP KOMBUCHA.
