Introducing skin-on potato wedges carefully cultivated in the rich open fields of Hokkaido. This set includes two easy-to-use 300g (10.5oz) packs, for a total of 600g (1.3lbs). The fresh potatoes are cut into bite-sized pieces and then flash frozen to preserve their quality. Using a special variety of potatoes called Hokkai Kogane, these wedges are perfect for French fries. While this product itself is not certified organic by JAS, the potatoes used are grown on farms certified by JAS, ensuring safe and worry-free potatoes. They are grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, making them non-GMO, rare domestically grown organic potatoes. Easy to prepare without oil, you can enjoy fresh French fries at home anytime.
These potatoes have a characteristic soft, flaky texture and a crisp golden color. They are a low-carb variety of potatoes, making them less likely to discolor when fried, and their mild flavor makes them suitable for a wide range of dishes. Despite their softness, they maintain their shape and texture beautifully even when used in simmered dishes or soups. We recommend enjoying the potatoes simply with salt to savor the natural flavor.
