Kamiyama Chicken is a specially raised Japanese chicken from the mountainous Yoshinogawa region of Tokushima Prefecture. The chickens are raised cage-free in spacious, open-sided houses surrounded by the countryside, with a longer growing period than conventional broiler chickens and careful attention to temperature, hygiene, and overall flock health.
