This apple sauce is made using an authentic American recipe and contains no additives, no added sugar, no preservatives, no colorings, no flavorings, and no dairy products. Just 100% apples. Not even water is added when producing the apple sauce, giving it a more natural flavor and giving you the chance to taste the crunchiness of the apples from the first bite. The small portion size makes it convenient to consume fresh with no worries of it getting spoiled.
Eat just as is as a quick and healthy snack, or simply put it in your bento to go. During the summer we highly recommend freezing it and eating it as sorbet. The apples are grown in Minami-Shinshu in Nagano Prefecture - an area famous for its apples and is said to be the best place to grow them. The land is surrounded by two Alps and near the Tenryu River. It's a sunny region with little rainfall, where the temperature differences between day and night are extremely high. These conditions help grow brightly colored apples that are juicy and delectably sweet.
