Product FAQs

What are the best before dates?
Each product comes with its own label and expiration date. The expiration is written in Japanese: 賞味期限 (shou-mi-ki-gen) and the format is yyyy/mm/dd.

See product details below for individual product information.

Do your products come individually packed?
Yes, most of our products come in portion sizes and are individually vacuum packed. Please check below on the product page for more details.

Where do I leave a review?
Thank you very much for your support. Every product page has a 'Leave a Review' section at the very bottom. Please feel free to leave an honest review. All reviews are anonymous and don't require an account. Once submitted your review will show up immediately and be public for everyone to see. Please do not include personal information.

Are your products Halal or Kosher certified?
We do not specifically carry or import halal or kosher products. Some items are labeled as kosher or halal by default from the country of origin.

Until what temperature can I sous vide the meat in their own packaging?
Our packaging is sous-vide ready (the process of cooking meat in their packaging in hot water for a prolonged time) for water temperatures up to 95°C (200°F). We do not recommend temperatures close to the boiling point but temperatures around 60°C (140°F) with a cooking period between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

This product has changed from a 280g block to 550g of precut ribs and the price has been adjusted accordingly.

550g (1.2lbs) of the finest New Zealand lamb spare ribs.  Spare ribs come from the belly section and are therefore chewier. We do not recommend these for the grill or the fry-pan but rather for slow-cooking. Slow-cooking them long enough will make these spare-ribs extremely tender falling off the bone - extremely flavorful and worth the long(er) cooking time. The fat will render beautifully during the prolonged cooking process providing the spare ribs with extra juiciness and succulent flavor. Already pre-cut so no need to cut the slab into individual ribs. Do not season excessively - high-quality lamb does not come with gamey flavor or odors. All you need is salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil.

Lamb meat spare ribs

Translated from Japanese: You can't eat it without cutting the meat yourself, but the taste is the best and it's easy to eat and without any odor!!
I will order again!

I made a soft and delicious stew.

Translated from Japanese: I put various organic vegetables (carrots, broccoli, onions, potatoes, etc.) in a pressure cooker.
I had tomato stew.
The meat turned tender in a short time.
I seasoned the meat with the “All-Natural Seasoning Blend” that is also sold here and only use olive oi.
I also added laurels.
I put the tomato sauce in a can of organic tomatoes and cooked it with the pressure cooker. It was very easy.
Everyone ate it deliciously from children to the elderly.
My dogs were also overjoyed.
I will order again.

Delicious

This ribs are great, very tasty. I prepared them in the oven, 180 C for 40 minutes, I used only salt and pepper and they were awesome.

Translated from Japanese: It arrived today at noon.
It was soft and very delicious.
Salt and pepper are enough as seasoning.
