The slices may have individual differences in size and fat content due to the meat being sourced naturally. Please note that we are not able to support requests for specific farms. Please refer to the bottom of this page for more information about our farms.
All-year free-range pork leg slices from pigs raised in an open pasture environment. This thinly sliced meat comes from the lean part of the pork leg and is perfect for Japanese dishes such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, or even just a simple stir fry. Shabu-shabu is a Japanese hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces. The pack weighs 200g (7.05oz) and each slice is 2mm thick.
100% Full-Blood Kurobuta pork is well-known for superior quality, juiciness, flavor, and marbling. Kurobuta is slightly darker in color and richer in flavor. The Kurobuta pigs are raised on open pasture as nature intended. The pigs are free to forage and wallow on the open pasture and are raised slowly with love and respect. It goes without saying that the pigs are raised without antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones. All images are actual images of the family farms. See below.
