This meat comes from 100% full blooded Kurobuta pigs. Seasoned with just rock salt and black pepper, the flavor slowly soaks into the meat over a 3-week period. Absolutely no preservatives, coloring, or other additives, and no curing salts used.
100% Kurobuta pigs are known for fine muscle fibers and marbling, creating a higher quality dining experience than other pork varieties. With just the right thickness, this free-range meat boasts a bold savory flavor combined with the juicy sweetness of the fatty portions. The simple seasoning allows the natural flavors of the meat to shine through. This pork loin makes for premium sandwich meat as is, but can also be cooked and enjoyed in the classic Canadian bacon style.

100% full-blooded Kurobuta pork is well-known for superior quality, juiciness, flavor, and marbling. Kurobuta is slightly darker in color and richer in flavor. The Kurobuta pigs are raised on open pasture as nature intended. The pigs are free to forage and wallow on the open pasture and are raised slowly with love and respect for 12 months, twice as long as factory farmed pigs. It goes without saying that the pigs are raised without antibiotics or growth-promoting hormones.
