Premium free-range Kurobuta pork belly / bacon slices from the sprawling natural environment of Hokkaido, Japan. Each pack includes 100g (3.5oz) of world-class pork. Made from 100% purebred Kurobuta pork belly with plenty of fat for flavor and crisping potential. This meat is slowly cured over a four-week period and smoked, and can be enjoyed straight out of the pack for mouthwatering sandwiches or as a snack. It's also the same cut as American-style bacon, so it is incredibly delicious when crisped in a frying pan - no oil necessary. The only ingredients are pork, rock salt, and black pepper - absolutely no preservatives, coloring, or additives like curing agents.
This premium pork is perfect for a classic American breakfast alongside pancakes and eggs, or as the star of a tasty BLT sandwich. If eaten cold, you can enjoy the delicious flavor as the pork belly melts on your tongue. When cooked, you can enjoy the signature crispiness of American bacon that is hard to find in Japan. We also recommend mixing into sauteed dishes and omelets or topping pizza, pasta, and salad for a punch of savory, salty flavor.
