Until what temperature can I sous vide the meat in their own packaging?
Our packaging is sous-vide ready (the process of cooking meat in their packaging in hot water for a prolonged time) for water temperatures up to 95°C (200°F). We do not recommend temperatures close to the boiling point but temperatures around 60°C (140°F) with a cooking period between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type and thickness of the meat.

Not bad I guess, but I would not have ordered them if I had noticed that the ingredients also listed sugar. Going to the effort to raise good pork and then with spices added, why add sugar? Sugar is very very bad for health. I think these are processed in Japan, and here they put sugar in much of everything, unfortunately. They must think that without sugar, it won't taste good enough, rather curious. I also think that although it says low salt, they are too salty for my taste. I don't eat much in the way of salt, so I pick up on the taste influence of it right away. If salt is much a part of your regular diet, it may not be so noticeable to you.
