I start each day with a warm cup of beef stock to strengthen my bones and joints. I don't drink it as is. I add various vegetables, tomatoes, spices and water and cook it for an hour or two. Then I remove all vegetables. Delicious.

I keep a supply of these in my freezer at all times and I use them often. They’re great for so many dishes, including Japanese dishes. I often will substitute these in recipes where naga-negi slices are called for (instead of leaving that ingredient out), because for me their more delicate texture and flavor, along with the freshness of their color, are always preferable in comparison.
